Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, México, DF, Mexico.
Background: The World Health Organization forecasts a population of 2,000 million people over 60 years by the year 2050, with 7% of this population suffering from dementia. Making a constant clinical-technological evaluation of older adults allows early detection of the disease and provides a better quality of life for the patient. In this sense, the research and development of innovative technological systems for the early detection of the disease, its monitoring and management of the growing number of patients with cognitive diseases has increased in recent years, integrating data collection and its automatic processing based on geriatric metrics into these systems using artificial intelligence (AI) methods.

To better understand potential challenges and solutions to enhance this communication, physicians were surveyed, after which patients and care partners participated in focus groups.
Method: Step one consisted of an online survey of 100 US-based neurologists, geriatric medicine specialists and Alzheimer's disease specialists to ascertain physician perspectives on meaningful benefits associated with anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatment (DMT) over currently available symptomatic treatments.

Background: In Ontario, Canada, province-wide initiatives supporting safer opioid prescribing in primary care include voluntary audit and feedback reports and academic detailing. In this process evaluation, we aimed to determine the fidelity of delivery and receipt of the interventions, the observed change strategies used by physicians, potential mechanisms of action, and how complementary the initiatives can be to each other.
Method: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with academic detailers and with physicians who received both interventions.
