The clinical treatment of violent behavior shows a remarkable congruence with preclinical research concerning the modulations of central neurotransmitter systems and their influence upon human aggressive behavior. Moreover, systematic alterations of central neurotransmitter activity in patients offer substantial promise of increasing the successful biological modification of violent behavior.

Background: Aggressive behavior in adolescent patients is a common phenomenon in clinical treatment and nursing care. The objective of this study was to conduct an assessment of the prevailing patterns and determinants of aggressive behavior among adolescents with mental disorders, with the intent to offer valuable insights for enhancing clinical intervention and nursing practices.
Methods: Adolescent patients with mental disorders admitted to the psychiatric department of Suzhou Guangji Hospital from January 1, 2022, to June 30, 2024 were included.
Gratitude is associated with increased social integration, which may counter the loneliness stemming from repeated peer victimization. The gratitude youth feel after different types of bystander action may depend on which behaviors are most congruent with personal beliefs. Face and honor cultures provide social norms for expectations and interpretations of behavior, including how to act during and after interpersonal conflict.
