Unlabelled: One of the challenges in clinical esthetic dentistry is closing anterior diastemas without creating "black triangles" between the teeth. The success of a restorative treatment in anterior teeth depends on the esthetic integration between soft tissues and hard tissues. The conditioning of the interdental papilla is a simple, direct, predictable, and low-cost alternative. This paper reports a case on diastema closure in anterior teeth that was successfully treated using gingival recontouring and composite resin restorations.
Clinical Significance: The closure of diastemas in anterior teeth using direct adhesive restorations and gingival recontouring is a viable option for the clinician because it restores esthetic harmony between soft and hard tissues.

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the ability of a periodontal resective procedure (the Proximal Wedge Technique) to improve the long-term health of the mandibular canines by reducing probing depths immediately post-surgery via targeted tissue recontouring and precise debridement. The technique aims to enhance periodontal health and stabilize the supporting structures of strategically important adjacent canine teeth, including alveolar bone, rather than relying solely on mandibular incisor extractions with simple closure.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective records review compiled data from patients with suprabony pockets of 6 mm or greater at the mesial aspect of the mandibular canines treated with the proximal wedge technique (PWT).

One of the most contentious and extensively discussed topics in the field of dentistry when fabricating prosthetic restorations is the location and design of the finishing line in relation to the gingival tissues. Upon completion of the temporary crown and subsequent fabrication of the final restoration, two potential issues may arise: 1) the analog or digital impression may not accurately reflect the shape of the gingiva obtained with the temporary crown due to gingival collapse upon crown removal, even in the presence of retraction cords; and 2) the desired gingival shape may not have been achieved with the temporary crown. The objective of this article is to describe the stabilization of gingival tissues following twelve weeks of clinical observation.

Minocycline, the synthetic derivative of the antibiotic tetracycline, has been used for a variety of medical treatments. One such use for minocycline is for acne vulgaris. Although widely used, minocycline has a common side effect of discoloration of tissues, including bone, skin, and mucosa.

An optimal esthetic result is essential for an implant-supported restoration in the anterior zone. In the esthetic zone, providing immediate interim restorations following implant surgery has been proposed as a reliable and desirable treatment approach. A well-contoured interim restoration following implant placement minimizes hard and soft tissue changes in the peri-implant zone.
