Purpose: To evaluate the effect of relining on complete dentures by analysis of model measurement.
Methods: 15 edentulous mandibular models were fabricated by close mouth impression, these models were marked and cut at 5 different positions, the alveolar height, width and sectional area were measured, then direct relining was performed on these patients' lower denture (Tokuyama Rebase Fast II). The cases were followed up for 7 days. Satisfaction questionnaire was used to evaluate the effect before and after relining. The results of relationship between alveolar ridge and effect of relining on complete dentures were analyzed with SPSS15.0 software package.
Results: There was significant correlation between the retention of lower complete dentures and the ridge form of alveolar at premolar area (P<0.01); The sectional area of alveolar ridge had the most significant correlation with the level of retention (P<0.01), and the effect of buccal side was more significant than that of lingual side. There was a correlation between the width of the alveolar ridge and retention; The buccal sectional area appeared to be more effective prognostic aid to retention. The logistic equation derived from model measurement could be used to predict the effectiveness of complete denture relining with an accuracy rate approaching 70%.
Conclusions: The dimensions of alveolar ridge at premolar area is most correlative with the retention of lower dentures after relining. Model measurement can be used as an accurate method to predict the effectiveness of relining for patients wearing complete dentures.

Introduction/aim: The partial deployment technique (PDT) is an unconventional option of T-branch deployment to allow target arteries (TAs) cannulation/stenting from the upper arm access, in case of narrow (NPA: <25mm) or severely angulated (APA: >60°) aorta. Aim of this study was to report outcomes of the endovascular repair of complex aortic (c-AAAs) and thoracoabdominal (TAAAs) aneurysms by T-branch and PDT.
Methods: All consecutive patients underwent urgent endovascular repair of c-AAAs and TAAAs by T-branch (Cook-Medical, Bloomington, IN, US) and PDT from 2021 to 2023 were analyzed.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare different treatment modalities to correct ill-fitted maxillary complete denture either by the conventional relining method or by scanning the relining impression and digitally construct a new denture regarding patient satisfaction, denture retention, and adaptation.
Materials And Methods: Twelve edentulous patients suffering from loose maxillary complete dentures were selected, dentures' borders and fitting surfaces were prepared, and relining impressions were taken, the impressions were scanned and the STL files were used for CAD/CAM milling ( computer aided designing/ computer aided manufacturing) of new maxillary dentures (Group A), then the relining impression went through the conventional laboratory steps to fabricate (Group B) maxillary dentures. Both groups were evaluated regarding patient satisfaction by a specially designed questionnaire, retention values were measured by a digital force gauge at denture insertion appointment and two weeks later, geomagic software was used to evaluate dentures adaptation to oral tissues.

Statement Of Problem: Comprehensive data are needed on the performance of chemically activated, chairside hard reline materials when used with computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) milled polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) denture bases and conventionally processed bases. This lack of data affects decisions regarding the chairside reline material to be used for improving the fit and retention of relined complete dentures.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate and compare the shear bond strength (SBS) of 3 chemically activated, chairside hard reline materials on CAD-CAM milled and conventional heat-polymerized PMMA denture bases.

Objective: Marginal adaptation of the provisional restoration often requires relining from relining materials. This study determined the effects of surface treatments on the shear bond strength (SBS) between 3D-printed provisional and bis-acryl relining materials.
Materials And Methods: The 3D-printed provisional specimens (9 × 9 × 2 mm) were prepared using methacrylate-based material.

Purpose: To present endovascular management of an intraoperative type IIIc endoleak (EL) in a patient with migration of the right renal artery (RRA) bridging stent graft (BSG) during branched aortic aneurysm repair.
Technique: The technique is demonstrated in an 80-year-old woman who underwent branched endograft repair of a symptomatic 6-cm type II TAAA. The t-Branch thoracoabdominal stent graft was positioned without difficulty.
