The effects of wheat and oat dietary fiber (DF) alone or combined on T2DM remain unclear. In this research, / diabetic mice were fed with diets containing 10% insoluble wheat dietary fiber (WDF), 10% insoluble oat dietary fiber (ODF), and 10% WODF (mixture of WDF and ODF, WDF : ODF = 1 : 1) for 8 weeks. The results showed that WDF, ODF, and WODF all reduced the body weight and fasting blood glucose (FBG) and improved oral glucose tolerance in / mice.

The kinases AMPK, and mTOR as part of either mTORC1 or mTORC2, are major orchestrators of cellular growth and metabolism. Phosphorylation of mTOR Ser1261 is reportedly stimulated by both insulin and AMPK activation and a regulator of both mTORC1 and mTORC2 activity. Intrigued by the possibilities that Ser1261 might be a convergence point between insulin and AMPK signaling in skeletal muscle, we investigated the regulation and function of this site using a combination of human exercise, transgenic mouse, and cell culture models.

Background: The effect of antidiabetic agents on mortality outcomes is unclear for individuals with diabetes mellitus (DM) who are hospitalized for COVID-19.
Purpose: To examine the relationship between antidiabetic agent use and clinical outcomes in individuals with DM hospitalized for COVID-19.
Methods: A systematic review of the literature (2020-2024) was performed across five databases.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Medtronic 780G SmartGuard™ AID system in children under 7 years of age with type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Methods: Retrospective analysis of data from children living with T1D under 7 years of age using the MiniMed 780G™ across three pediatric endocrinology units in the Canary Islands. Metabolic control parameters were analyzed from 14 days of pretreatment to 12 months of follow-up.

Introduction: This study evaluated the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of F-Biotic™ (Arishina Life Sciences, Karnataka, IND), a prebiotic containing 60% resistant starch derived from natural sources, in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on stable metformin therapy.
Methods: Seventy participants with T2DM, aged 25-70 years, were randomized into two groups: one receiving F-Biotic™ and the other a placebo, both administered daily for 12 weeks. Key outcomes included fasting blood sugar (FBS), postprandial blood sugar (PPBS), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), fasting insulin, insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), GLP-1 levels, lipid profile, and quality of life.
