Background: The number of notified tuberculosis cases in the Czech Republic decreased in the year 2007. 871 new tuberculosis cases and relapses were reported in the year 2007 (8.4/100 000 inhabitants).
Methods And Results: 744 cases were pulmonary tuberculosis (7.2/100 000) and from them 506 were definite pulmonary cases (4.9/100 000). In 2007 266 smear-positive cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were diagnosed. The decreasing trend in tuberculosis incidence reported since 1998 has continued. Only 14.7% of new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were discovered by active case-finding.
Conclusions: Next targets of tuberculosis control in the Czech Republic must be an active case-finding in high-risk groups and monitoring of latent tuberculosis infection.

Z boson events at the Large Hadron Collider can be selected with high purity and are sensitive to a diverse range of QCD phenomena. As a result, these events are often used to probe the nature of the strong force, improve Monte Carlo event generators, and search for deviations from standard model predictions. All previous measurements of Z boson production characterize the event properties using a small number of observables and present the results as differential cross sections in predetermined bins.

Purpose Of Review: The purpose of this study was to review the literature on the relationship between migraine, anxiety and related disorders, anxious symptomology and related behaviors.
Recent Findings: Generalized anxiety, other anxious disorders and migraine are comorbid. In addition, anxious symptomology and behaviors are common in people with migraine even if they do not meet diagnostic criteria or threshold.

Single-cell RNA-seq methods can be used to delineate cell types and states at unprecedented resolution but do little to explain why certain genes are expressed. Single-cell ATAC-seq and multiome (ATAC + RNA) have emerged to give a complementary view of the cell state. It is however unclear what additional information can be extracted from ATAC-seq data besides transcription factor binding sites.

Detailed atomic-scale understanding is a crucial prerequisite for rational design of next-generation single-atom catalysts (SACs). However, the sub-ångström precision needed for systematic studies is challenging to achieve on common SACs. Here, we present a two-dimensional (2D) metal-organic system featuring Fe-N single-atom sites, where the metal-organic structure is modulated by 0.

Introduction: The indication for endoscopic third ventriculostomy is often contested in children younger than 1 year. This study aims to establish the benefits of this modality in children with idiopathic congenital aqueductal stenosis.
Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on patients <1 year old with idiopathic congenital aqueductal stenosis undergoing endoscopic third ventriculostomy between 2004 and 2020.
