Background: Numerous genes are involved in immune system modulation, and their polymorphisms may contribute to developing autoimmune disorders. Genetic variation contributes significantly to disease susceptibility to autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD).
Objectives: This work aims to investigate the role of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of interferon induced with helicase C domain 1 (IFIH1) rs1990760 and glutamate decarboxylase (GAD) rs769404 in AITD development.

The liver and thyroid hormones interact at multiple levels to maintain homoeostasis. The liver requires large adequate amounts of thyroid hormones to execute its metabolic functions optimally, and deficiency of thyroid hormones may lead to liver dysfunction. Hypothyroidism has been associated with abnormal lipid metabolism, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), hypothyroidism-induced myopathy, hypothyroidism-associated gallstones and occasionally, interferon-induced thyroid dysfunction.

Numerous evidence showed that the occurrence and development of lung cancer is closely related to environmental pollution. Therefore, new environmental response predictive markers are urgently needed for early diagnosis and screening of lung cancer. Interferon-induced protein 44-like (IFI44L) has been shown to be related in a variety of tumors, but its function and mechanism during lung carcinogenesis still have remained largely unknown.

Aim: This study investigated the role and mechanism of insulin-like growth factor 2-IGF2BP2 in breast cancer.
Methods: IGF2BP2 is overexpressed in MDA-MB-231 human breast cancer cells. Thus, RNA sequencing was used to analyze the differentially expressed genes, Cell Counting Kit-8 was used to detect cell proliferation, and a Transwell assay was used to assess cell invasion.
