Non-invasive lobular neoplasia (LN) encompasses atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH), classic lobular carcinoma in situ (CLCIS), florid lobular carcinoma in situ (FLCIS), and pleomorphic lobular carcinoma in situ (PLCIS). Lobular neoplasia is a neoplastic epithelial proliferation of the terminal duct lobular unit. A defining feature is discohesion due to the loss of E-cadherin, a protein that facilitates cell-to-cell adhesion.

Cellular angiofibromas (CAFs) are benign mesenchymal neoplasms of the vulva and lower genitourinary tract. Although most cases are benign with excellent prognosis, data on CAFs with cytologic atypia (aCAF) and sarcomatous transformation (tCAF) is limited. Background: Implementing the thermoplastic mask as a treatment option in Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS) has madethe discussion of the relative benefits of frame- or mask-based fixation for treatment a frequent occurence. Based on a case review, the authors discuss factors that need to be understood and considered by the treating team.

Observations: The authors describe the case of an 81-year-old patient with pleomorphic dermal sarcoma that extended to and infiltrated the dura mater, who underwent extensive resection requiring a skin flap.

This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the corneal endothelial characteristics in elderly individuals with high myopia. We assessed corneal endothelial characteristics in 1065 eyes of 1065 elderly patients (549 highly myopic and 516 control eyes) using non-contact specular microscopy. Confirmation of suspected Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) was performed with slit-lamp and confocal microscopy.
