The development of innovative synbiotics that inhibit the adhesion and reproduction of multidrug-resistant (MDR) CJ in animals and humans, thereby preserving intestinal homeostasis, is relevant. We have created a synbiotic based on the consortium of 2029 (LC2029), 7247 (LS7247), and a mannan-rich prebiotic (Actigen).

This study aims to examine the degradation process of urban stream landscapes in Tekirdağ by utilizing a newly developed degradation index (DI) that effectively defines degradation. The DI considers the vital factors that affect urban stream landscapes, making it possible to determine the level of degradation and resulting environmental quality. This index aims to provide valuable insight into the degradation of urban stream landscapes with a minimal amount of independent variables and training samples.

Thyroid vascularization and hemodynamics become altered in thyroid pathologies and could thus inform diagnostics, therapy planning, and follow-up. However, the current non-invasive monitoring methods available in clinics lack the necessary sensitivity and/or are impractical for large-scale deployment. As a step towards proposing a new modality, we applied the first platform, to our knowledge, designed to do simultaneous measurements of neck anatomy and thyroid microvascular hemodynamics and metabolism in a single probe placement, integrating state-of-the-art near-infrared spectroscopy techniques and clinical ultrasound.

An Injectable Solution for Preservation of Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitors Cells in Hypothermic Condition.

To ensure the preservation of functional hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) and committed progenitor cells (HPC) at + 4 °C in ex vivo expanded cord blood cell products during worldwide transportation and subsequent infusion-without the need for washing and cell concentration-we developed a conservation medium called Stabilizer of Expanded Cells (SEC), composed exclusively of injectable pharmacological products. The in vivo engraftment assay in immunodeficient mice was used to detect primitive HSCs before and after preservation at + 4 °C. In some experiments, a complex phenotype based on CD34, CD38, and CD133 expression was utilized for this purpose.
