Povidone, a synthetic polymer commonly used in various products such as antiseptics, cosmetics, and medications, has been associated with allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. Despite its widespread use, cases of povidone-induced anaphylaxis, especially in children, are under-recognized. This case report aims to highlight the importance of considering povidone allergy in pediatric patients presenting with anaphylaxis.

Background: Anaphylaxis is a severe systemic allergic reaction that can be life-threatening, timely diagnosis and treatment is required in these patients, one of the most frequent triggers is pharmacological.
Objective: To report the case of a patient who presented anaphylaxis due to eye drops.
Case Report: A 7-year-old male with a history of rhinitis and asthma with good control.

Rationale: Ornidazole is a synthetic nitroimidazole derivative that is commonly prescribed for antiparasitic or anti-anaerobic infections. It is generally well tolerated, with known side effects including gastrointestinal tract, anaphylaxis, and central nervous system reactions. Ornidazole-induced binocular reactive keratitis and several mucocutaneous lesions have been rarely reported.

Background: Cyclopentolate is frequently used as a mydriatic agent during ophthalmological examinations in childhood and hypersensitivity reactions associated with this drug are rare. We aim to report an infant who experienced anaphylaxis due to cyclopentolate eye drops.
Case: A nine-month-old girl, who was being followed up with a diagnosis of retinoblastoma, presented for consultation for urticaria, cough, stridor, and dyspnea that developed after the administration of topical cyclopentolate to the eyes.
