Multi-wavelength holography is demonstrated with a H(2) Raman shifter that is pumped with an elliptically-polarized pulsed 532 nm beam to produce temporally coherent, intense, polarized output lines. Digital holograms of two-dimensional colored objects are recorded using Raman output lines at 630.4 nm (S(05), Red), 532 nm (Rayleigh, Green) and 435.7 nm (aS(10), Blue). Object reconstruction is done numerically via the convolution method and colored object recognition is achieved by multi-channel correlation of the Red, Green, and Blue reconstructions of the reference and the target object.

Spatially selective imaging (SSI) involves sampling a group of pixels from different positions on an encoded object to display a decoded image. Here, SSI is achieved by using off-axis cylindrical Fresnel lens arrays to decode multiple images from an encoded print of structural color pixels. Each image is optically retrieved by separately placing different "keys" (arrays of lenses in different pseudorandom configurations) over the same encoded print, and then each image is digitally reconstructed for visualization.

This study introduced a novel approach to 3D image segmentation utilizing a neural network framework applied to 2D depth map imagery, with Z axis values visualized through color gradation. This research involved comprehensive data collection from mechanically harvested wild blueberries to populate 3D and red-green-blue (RGB) images of filled totes through time-of-flight and RGB cameras, respectively. Advanced neural network models from the YOLOv8 and Detectron2 frameworks were assessed for their segmentation capabilities.
