Two steps are able to lead to a significant decrease in the incidence of skin cancer overall and/or to its parallel and successful surgical treatment. The first step concerns its non-occurrence or less frequent clinical manifestation and is largely related to the modern concept known as prevention, but not the one mainly related to solar radiation, but: 1) informing patients about the possible contamination of certain drugs with carcinogens/nitrosamines/NDSRIs and 2) making clinicians aware of the modern concept of limited to completely eliminated intake of nitrosamines/NDSRIs in medications. The ineffectiveness of either of these entities could in all likelihood be seen as one of the major causes of the headline growth in the incidence of skin cancer and keratinocytic cancer in particular.

- * A case study of a 69-year-old woman showed that after 12 years of zolpidem use, she developed uncontrolled movements and anxiety/depression symptoms, despite having no prior psychiatric or neurological issues.

Background: In healthy volunteers, the probe drug method is widely practised to assess the pharmacokinetic mediated herb-drug interactions (HDI). We analyzed the clinical evidence of CYP3 A4 probe drug, Midazolam.
Methods: Literatures, where Midazolam was used as a probe drug for prediction of herb-drug interaction, were surveyed through an online database such as google scholar, Scopus, Cochrane, PubMed and clinicaltrials.

Objective: The majority of medication-dependent persons uses sedatives and hypnotics for many years. In this study we describe trends of benzodiazepine and z-drug prescriptions over a 10-years period.
Methods: Prescriptions from 2006 to 2015 (based on German statutory health insurances) from the North German Pharmacy Computing Centre (NARZ) were analysed for the Federal states Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Bremen.
