[Self-organization of physiological, pathological and ambivalent functional systems]. | LitMetric

Development of P.K. Anokhin's theory of functional systems rejects the idea of adaptation result as a universal system-forming factor. This integrates the theory with conception on pathological and ambivalent systems. The existence of several system-forming factors is validated as well as their individual ability to create physiological, pathological and ambivalent systems. Perspectives of further transformation of the idea on the mechanism of system formation is discussed.
