An improved implementation of the reverse phase contrast (RPC) method for rapid optical transformation of amplitude patterns into spatially similar phase patterns using a high-speed digital micromirror-array device (DMD) is presented. Aside from its fast response, the DMD also provides an electronically adjustable and inherently aligned input iris that simplifies the optimization of the RPC system. In the RPC optimization, we illustrate good agreement between experimentally obtained and theoretically predicted optimal iris size. Finally, we demonstrate the conversion of a binary amplitude grating encoded on the DMD into a binary (0-pi) phase grating.

Methods: Qualitative, semistructured, face-to-face interviews were conducted with a purposive sample of patients with uncontrolled diabetes who received care at a CP-based MTM clinic. Interviews were conducted in the MTM clinic of Health Kingdom CP in Riyadh City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by a research pharmacist using an interview guide.

Introduction: The annual prevalence of elder mistreatment (EM) in cognitively intact older adults is estimated to be 11%, yet the annual prevalence in older adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) is estimated to be as high as 75%. Associated with a decrease in quality of life and increase in risk of mortality, EM represents a significant public health burden. Home-based primary care (HBPC) providers are uniquely positioned to address the critical need for robust EM screening and reporting, especially among individuals with AD/ADRD.

Purpose: To assess the association between neoadjuvant therapy and overall survival (OS) in patients with left-sided resectable pancreatic cancer (RPC) compared to upfront surgery.
Background: Left-sided pancreatic cancer is associated with worse OS compared to right-sided pancreatic cancer. Although neoadjuvant therapy is currently seen as not effective in patients with RPC, current randomized trials included mostly patients with right-sided RPC.
