The investigation involved 307 patients operated on for gastric adenocarcinoma. Nutritional support was given enterally (50), parenterally (98) and by standard methods (159). Enteral nutrition should be recommended because it was followed by relatively higher total protein and serum albumin levels.

Background: Dutch adolescents predominantly purchase unhealthy snacks in supermarkets, which negatively influence their health. The primary objective of this research was to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of "Supper Heroes", a superhero-themed mobile health (mHealth) intervention designed to reduce food waste and increase plant-based protein food intake among families with children aged 9-14 in Ontario, Canada. A single arm, pre-post mixed methods design was used to evaluate the intervention. The 4-month mHealth intervention included 7 online modules with infographics, videos, and activities to help families reduce their food waste and eat more plant-based protein foods.

Reducing enteric methane emissions from livestock is a key environmental challenge, as methane is a major pollutant. The complexity of animal biology and diverse diet compositions make it difficult to develop strategy to control methane production. This study examined the use of plant phenolic extracts of Madhuca longifolia (ML-7) as a feed additive combined with various ruminant diets and dosages to find an effective supplement to reduce methane emissions.
