[Influence of hypocaloric diet with supplemented biologically active substances with antioxidant activity on clinicometabolic parameters in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients].

It was investigated the influence of a diet with supplemented biologically active substances (catechins, flavanols and other) with antioxidant activity on dinamics clinicometabolic parameters in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. It was shown that inclusion of biologically active addition as the source of catechins, flavanols and other polyphenols in complex of treatment in type 2 diabetes mellitus contributes to increase hypotensive, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic and antioxidant efficacy dietary therapy.
