We aimed to examine baseline predictors of treatment response in bulimic patients. 241 seeking-treatment females with bulimia nervosa completed an exhaustive assessment and were referred to a six-session psychoeducational group. Regression analyses of treatment response were performed. Childhood obesity, lower frequency of eating symptomatology, lower body mass index, older age, and lower family's and patient's concern about the disorder were predictors of poor abstinence. Suicidal ideation, alcohol abuse, higher maximum BMI, higher novelty seeking and lower baseline purging frequency predicted dropouts. Predictors of early symptom changes and dropouts were similar to those identified in longer CBT interventions.

Introduction: Compared to platinum-based therapies, a combination of ipilimumab (anti-CTLA-4) and nivolumab (anti-PD-1) has demonstrated improved outcomes in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), albeit with higher rates of immune-related adverse events (irAEs). This multicenter retrospective study evaluated the efficacy and safety of nivolumab and ipilimumab with or without chemotherapy (NI and NICT) in real-world clinical settings.

Background: Currently, it is unclear to what extent late-onset Alzheimer's disease (AD) risk variants contribute to early-onset AD (EOAD). One method to clarify the contribution of late-onset AD genetic risk to EOAD is to investigate the association of AD polygenic risk scores (PRS) with EOAD. We hypothesize that in the Longitudinal Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease Study (LEADS), EOAD participants will have greater PRS than early-onset amyloid-negative cognitively-impaired participants (EOnonAD) and controls, and investigate the association of AD PRS with age of disease onset (AoO) and cognitive performance.
