Objective: This study explored the effectiveness of combining problem-based learning (PBL) and case-based learning (CBL) in the clinical teaching of ectopic pregnancy.
Methods: Fifth-year students majoring in clinical medicine were recruited from the Department of Gynecology at the Hengyang Central Hospital and Hainan General Hospital between September 2023 and June 2024. The students were randomly assigned to either the combined PBL-CBL or the traditional group.

Introduction: Although hernia repair constitutes a significant portion of surgical training, education around more complex hernia concepts such as abdominal wall reconstruction (AWR) or paraesophageal hernia repair may be lacking. We developed and implemented a pre-rotation quiz for residents on an AWR and minimally invasive surgery service. We also investigated the staff and resident perception of resident knowledge and experience of the rotation before and after quiz implementation.

Background: Primary Care Physicians have a central role in assisting individuals with dementia and evaluating their preparedness to care these patients is fundamental. Our aim is to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes regarding dementia of the Primary Care Physicians (PCP) in Rio Grande do Sul (RS) state, Southern Brazil.
Methods: We collected sociodemographic data, volume of patients with dementia treated/referred and perception of difficulties in caring for these patients.

Background: Vaccination is one of the most economic and effective strategies for preventing infectious diseases. However, public intention to be vaccinated is, to a certain degree, influenced by issues related to vaccine hesitancy, anti-vaccine movement, and public concerns about safety and adverse effects. Vaccine literacy is considered as a positive factor in improving vaccination intention, however, the correlation between vaccine literacy and vaccination intention has not been thoroughly investigated in mainland China.
