Extramedullary plasmacytoma (EPM) is a plasma cell tumor arising outside of the bone marrow. Solitary EMP is an uncommon neoplasm and rarely occurs in the retroperitoneum and lacks distinctive clinical manifestations. We report a 26-year-old man with a solitary EMP in the retroperitoneum and discuss its clinical features, diagnosis and treatment.

Background: The adaptive immune system consists of T and B lymphocytes, with some B lymphocytes further differentiating into plasma cells that secrete antibodies and make up the humoral immune system. Extramedullary plasmacytoma, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma, and plasmablastic lymphoma are all plasma cell-rich lymphoid neoplasms that rarely present in the female genital tract. To date, few case reports of these malignancies arising within the uterine cervix exist.

Multiple myeloma is a hematological malignancy that results from the proliferation of abnormal plasma cells, typically invading the bone marrow but occasionally involving other areas of the body. We present a rare case of a 58-year-old male patient who presented with right-sided thoracic wall mass, which was eventually diagnosed through imaging and biopsy as paraskeletal extramedullary plasmacytoma with concurrent multiple myeloma. The patient exhibited symptoms of chest pain and swelling, with radiological features of a large right-sided chest wall mass.

This case report presents an extremely rare clinical case of a patient who presented with visual impairment, eye pain, and perforation. In this situation, an enucleation of the affected eye was performed, followed by a biopsy, which allowed the diagnosis to be established. From there, a multidisciplinary study was conducted to follow up and implement a definitive treatment.

Extramedullary plasmacytoma involving the heart is a rare occurrence. We present the case of a 74-year-old man who received a diagnosis of cardiac plasmacytoma in the context of relapsed multiple myeloma. The tumor primarily presented as a solitary extramedullary plasmacytoma with extensive infiltration into the right ventricle, leading to mild symptoms such as dyspnea.

Introduction: Extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP) is a rare plasma cell disorder that can occasionally involve the gastrointestinal tract, though involvement of the small intestine and mesentery is very uncommon. Diagnosis is challenging as patient presentation is variable with pain, obstruction, or bleeding, and imaging cannot differentiate between other malignancies. Diagnosis is not achieved until histopathological analysis of the resected mass.
