Resonance-enhanced multi-photon ionization (REMPI) and mass-analyzed threshold ionization (MATI) spectroscopic investigations were applied to the van der Waals complexes of the three dichlorobenzene isomers with argon. From the REMPI spectra it is concluded that the argon atom is shifted towards the chlorine atoms during excitation for the ortho and the meta isomers while it stays in the middle of the ring for the para isomer. From the MATI spectra it was possible to determine the binding energies in the ion ground state to 617 cm(-1) -/+ 15 cm(-1), 529 cm(-1) -/+ 125 cm(-1) and 581 cm(-1) -/+ 76 cm(-1) for the para, the meta and the ortho isomer, respectively. Together with -theoretical calculations binding energies in the neutral ground state were determined to be 426 cm(-1) -/+ 16 cm(-1) for all the three isomers.

Electric-field-induced shape memory effect has potential applications in electromechanical actuator. Here, this study proposes the a phase structure design routine in (1-x)(75NaBiTiO-25SrTiO)-xPbTiO ceramics to obtain large electromechanical response and shape memory effect. It is found that the shape memory effect is closely related to the bending deformation induced by asymmetric polarization between positive and negative electrodes, which is resulted from the reductions of Bi and Pb because of electron injection from negative electrode.

Degradable features are highly desirable to advance next-generation organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors (OMIECs) for transient bioinspired artificial intelligence devices. It is highly challenging that OMIECs exhibit excellent mixed ionic-electronic behavior and show degradability simultaneously.Specially,in OMIECs,doping is often a tradeoff between structural disorder and charge carrier mobilities.

SbTe-based flexible thin films can be utilized in the fabrication of self-powered wearable devices due to their huge potential in thermoelectric performance. Although doping can significantly enhance the power factor value, the process of identifying suitable dopants is typically accompanied by numerous repeating experiments. Herein, we introduce Zn doping into thermally diffused p-type SbTe flexible thin films with a candidate dopant validated using the first-principles calculations.

Magnesium batteries offer a safer alternative for next-generation battery technology due to their insusceptibility to dendrite deposition. Selective membranes tailored for magnesium-ion conduction will unlock further technological advancement. Herein, we demonstrate fluorine-free magnesiated sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (Mg-SPEEK) selective membranes capable of facilitating magnesium-ion conduction while effectively rejecting soluble organic species.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAs an effective approach to overcome the electronic bottlenecks of conventional electrical radars, microwave photonic radars have demonstrated significant superiority in their perception and recognition capabilities. However, trade-offs exist among the reconfigurability, signal time-bandwidth product (TBWP), linearity, and phase coherence of current photonic radars, which ultimately weaken the overall performance. To address these challenges, a photonic transceiver based on electrically assisted synchronized lasers is proposed and demonstrated, which combines high resolution and multi-band reconfigurability.
