Long-term, immunosuppression-free allograft survival has been induced in human and nonhuman primate (NHP) kidney recipients after nonmyeloablative conditioning and donor bone marrow transplantation (DBMT), resulting in transient mixed hematopoietic chimerism. However, the same strategy has consistently failed in NHP heart transplant recipients. Here, we investigated whether long-term heart allograft survival could be achieved by cotransplanting kidneys from the same donor.

Gaucher disease is a rare lysosomal storage disorder characterized by the accumulation of glucocerebroside lipids within multiple organs due to a deficiency of the lysosomal enzyme (acid β-glucosidase). Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the influence of drug factors on the efficacy of bisphosphonate for chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis to provide a reference for clinical treatment and promote clinical rational drug use by evaluation of effectiveness and safety of bisphosphonate treatment of chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis.
Methods: Literature on the treatment of chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis by using bisphosphonate was collected and analyzed from PubMed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane, ISI Web of Knowledge, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang databases.
Results: A total of 489 cases were collected, with an average complete response rate of clinical presentation, laboratory tests and imaging findings of 80.

Gynecomastia, the abnormal enlargement of male breast tissue, is a rare side effect associated with dasatinib. This drug is used in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). We present a case of dasatinib-induced gynecomastia in a 52-year-old gentleman with CML who developed bilateral breast enlargement and tenderness after approximately four months of dasatinib treatment.
