A four-channel microwave interferometer (center frequency: 60 GHz) has been constructed to measure plasma density profiles in the levitated dipole experiment (LDX). The LDX interferometer has a unique design owing to the unique geometry of LDX. The main design features of the interferometer are: (1) the transmitted beam traverses the plasma entirely in O-mode; (2) the interferometer is a heterodyne system employing two free-running oscillators; (3) four signals of data are received from just on transmitted beam; (4) phase shifts are detected in quadrature. Calibration tests demonstrate that the interferometer measures phase shifts with an uncertainty of approximately 5 degrees . Plasma densities in LDX corresponding to phase shifts of up to 5pi are routinely and successfully measured.

Titanium disulfide quantum dots (TiSQDs) has garnered significant research interest due to its distinctive electronic and optical properties. However, the effectiveness of TiSQDs in electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding is influenced by various factors, including their size, morphology, monodispersity, tunable bandgap, Stokes shift and interfacial effects. In this study, we propose a systematic approach for the synthesis of TiSQDs with small size (3.

Metabolic reprogramming is a prominent component of endocrine resistance and a potential therapeutic intervention point. However, a limited understanding of which metabolic changes are conserved across the heterogeneous landscape of ER+ breast cancer or how metabolic changes factor into ER DNA binding patterns hinder our ability to target metabolic adaptation as a treatment strategy.

Background: The teams' collective playing strategy rather than the individual player attitudes could explain event outcome and risk of injuries.
Objective: The study aimed to examine the playing style of European teams and compare it to the USA.
Method: 12 matches from the U19 European championship of American Football were analysed.

The circadian cycle is a fundamental biological rhythm that governs many physiological functions across nearly all living organisms. In the gastrointestinal tract, activities such as gut motility, hormone synthesis, and communication between the gut, central nervous system and microbiome all fluctuate in alignment with the circadian cycle. The enteric nervous system (ENS) is critical for co-ordinating many of these activities, however, how its activity is governed by the circadian cycle remains unknown.

Synthetic single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) contain various chiralities, which can be sorted by DNA. However, finding DNA sequences for this purpose mainly relies on trial-and-error methods. Predicting the right DNA sequences to sort SWCNTs remains a substantial challenge.
