Objective: To report two interesting and rare cases of ovarian pregnancies, after IVF-embryo transfer, and their successful laparoscopic management.
Design: Case report.
Setting: Fertility Research Centre, G G Hospital, Chennai, India.
Patient(s): Two patients with primary infertility.
Intervention(s): Detection of ovarian pregnancy.
Main Outcome Measure(s): Early detection and successful laparoscopic management.
Result(s): Pregnancy outcome following IVF-ET, early detection of ovarian ectopic pregnancy and successful laparoscopic management.
Conclusion(s): The women who conceive after IVF-embryo transfer are at a significantly higher risk of ectopic pregnancy. Although ovarian ectopic pregnancy is a rare event, the clinician should always keep the possibility in mind as the condition can be easily missed.

Background: To investigate the effectiveness of different bariatric metabolic surgeries in improving metabolic syndrome indicators in patients.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on obese patients who underwent laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG), laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy + jejunojejunal bypass (LSG + JJB), and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB). Patients were categorized into groups based on their surgical procedure: LSG (N = 199), LSG + JJB (N = 242), and LRYGB (N = 288).

Introduction: Laparoscopic Fowler Stephens orchidopexy, single stage or two-stage, is now routinely performed in non-palpable testis. We performed second stage orchidopexy as open inguinal approach and compared the outcome of this approach to two-staged laparoscopic orchidopexy.
Methods: We performed a prospective randomized interventional study of two different approaches for intra-abdominal testis.

Background: Endotracheal intubation (ETI) is a life-saving procedure that must be accurately carried on to guard against complications. Presbyopia leads to difficulty in viewing close objects and may obstacle proper intubation even with the best hands.
Purpose: This study supposed that the use of video-laryngoscope (VL) may provide better intubation conditions for presbyopic anesthetists and targets to evaluate the neonates and infants' intubation success rates (ISR) by anesthetists aged ≥ 45 years using the C-MAC VL compared to the standard laryngoscope (SL).

IS ESG EFFECTIVE IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY AND ASSOCIATEDCOMORBIDITIES?: Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) is more effective than lifestyle modifications alone for weight loss and improving obesity-related comorbidities. While it has less effect on weight loss compared to Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy (LSG) in the short to medium term, it offers similar comorbidities resolution to LSG. IS ESG A SAFE PROCEDURE, AND WHAT ARE ITS RISKS?: The safety profile of ESG is consistently supported in the literature.
