Unlabelled: is one of the three most frequently mutated genes in age-related clonal hematopoiesis (CH), alongside and . CH can progress to myeloid malignancies including chronic monomyelocytic leukemia (CMML), and is also strongly associated with inflammatory cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality in humans. DNMT3A and TET2 regulate DNA methylation and demethylation pathways respectively, and loss-of-function mutations in these genes reduce DNA methylation in heterochromatin, allowing de-repression of silenced elements in heterochromatin.

Choroidal involution is a common feature of age-related ischemic retinopathies such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It is now well recognized that endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are essential to endothelial repair processes and in maintaining vascular integrity. However, the contribution of EPCs and the role of senescence in age-related choroidal vascular degeneration remain to be investigated.

Postoperative neurocognitive disorder (PND) is a prevalent complication following surgery and anesthesia, characterized by progressive cognitive decline. The precise etiology of PND remains unknown, and effective targeted therapeutic strategies are lacking. Transcranial near-infrared light (tNIRL) has shown potential benefits for cognitive dysfunction diseases, but its effect on PND remains unclear.

Perioperative neurocognitive disorders (PNDs) are common neurological complications after anesthesia in the elderly. Protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 2 (PTPN2) regulates signal transducer and activator of transcription protein 3 (STAT3) signaling to control inflammation in certain organs, but its role in PNDs remains unknown. Herein, we constructed a PND model in 18-month-old rats by treating them with sevoflurane.

Objective: To study was to evaluate the potential modulatory impact of succinate/SUCNR1 signaling on the non-genomic immunosuppressive and gene-mediated inflammatory-degenerative effects of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) activation in the cerebral cortex (CC) of aging rats.
Material And Methods: Using Western blot analysis, we assessed the expression level of pro-inflammatory (TNF-α, IL-1β), anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10, TGF-β1), mitochondriogenesis markers (PGC-1α, NDUFV2, SDHA, cyt c1, COX2, ATP5A), angiogenesis marker VEGF, neurotrophin BDNF, GR, succinate receptor SUCNR1 in the CC of 18-month-old rats with isolated administration of the highly specific GR ligand dexamethasone (1 mg/kg, i.p.
