The primary objective of this study was to review a methotrexate 90-mg fixed-dose protocol for treatment of ectopic pregnancy, and to evaluate if any characteristics were associated with ectopic pregnancy treatment failure. This was a single arm retrospective cohort study conducted at Kaiser Permanente Colorado. The primary outcome was to describe rates of ectopic pregnancy treatment failure among patients who received fixed dose(s) of methotrexate for ectopic pregnancy between January 1, 2007 and August 31, 2017.

This study was designed to assess the effect of brentuximab vedotin on several breast cancer cell lines in terms of promoting apoptosis and managing cancer progression. Additionally, the study investigated the potential of repurposing this drug for new therapeutic reasons, beyond its original indications. The study evaluates the cytotoxic effects of Brentuximab vedotin across five cell lines: normal human skin fibroblasts (HSF), three breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, and T-47D), and histiocytic lymphoma (U-937).

The Diffusion of Innovations (DOI) model can be used to explore how faculty prioritize learning about and adopting new pedagogical approaches. Here, we use the DOI framework to contextualize biology faculty perceptions of a professional development (PD) program designed to help them create a full semester course-based undergraduate research experience (CURE) class at a large, public comprehensive university. PD sessions included exploring self-reflexive identity while fostering inclusive classroom spaces through understanding and interrupting implicit bias and microaggressions.

Study Design: The following factors were looked into: age of the patients, time between the incident and consultation, reason for consultation (pregnancy determination during the post-divorce waiting period, sexual assault, hymen examination, physical violence, other), time of the consultation (in-hours or out-of-hours), place of referral (prosecutor's office/court, police station, own request), and type of report (final or preliminary). The data were obtained retrospectively.
