Acyl carrier protein (ACP), an abundant protein in every cell, plays a central role in a number of metabolic processes requiring acyl group transfer. Conformational flexibility while crucial for its function remains substantially unaddressed. By dual polarization interferometry we establish correlation between the chain length of aliphatic groups covalently linked to Escherichia coli and Plasmodium falciparum ACP and their respective partial molar volumes in solution which helps to subserve the aforesaid goal.

To date, pagetoid spread-the proliferation of pagetoid cells in intraepidermal lesions, as observed in secondary extramammary Paget's disease-has not been reported in squamous epithelium derived from the extension of head and neck carcinomas. Herein, we report a case of pagetoid squamous cell proliferation associated with a primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC) arising in the periapical lesion of the maxilla, a finding not reported previously. A 60-year-old man presented with prostate adenocarcinoma and bilateral pubic bone, ilium bone, and sacral bone metastases.

Statement Of The Problem: Previous longitudinal studies have found that patients with shortened dental arches (SDA) have a higher risk of long-term tooth loss than complete dental arch (CDA). However, the difference between SDA and CDA concerning oral function has yet to be demonstrated.
Purpose: We aimed to clarify the influence of molar occlusal support on oral function in SDA and CDA participants cross-sectionally and longitudinally.
This case report introduced a new technique to manage buccal deep isolated recession with loss of keratinized tissue. This technique is indicated where there is a good amount of keratinized tissue lateral to the defect and deep vestibule. In this case report, a 27-year-old male patient was referred to a periodontal surgery clinic for the management of an 8 mm buccal recession with loss of keratinized tissue related to auto-transplanted maxillary molar that caused discomfort to the patient.
