Correspondence between infant actigraphy and mother-recorded diary differed significantly when receiver-operator function area under the curve, correlation, and logistic regression was calculated with and without excluding periods of external motion. External motion occurred in 40% of recording time and significantly changed activity count per epoch.

Background: The effect of axial rotation between the femoral neck and ankle joint (total rotation [TR]) on normal knees is unknown. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the TR effect on normal knee kinematics.
Methods: Volunteers were divided into groups large (L), intermediate (I), and small (S), using hierarchical cluster analysis based on TR in the standing position.

Stenosis causes the narrowing of arteries due to plaque buildup, which impedes blood flow and affects flow dynamics. This work numerically analyzes flow fluctuations in stenosed arteries under realistic physiological conditions (resting and exercise) and external body acceleration. The artery is inclined at angle , and blood rheology is modeled using a generalized power-law fluid.

However, its translational potential is hindered by adverse effects stemming from the invasive implantation of optical fibers into the brain. In this study, we have developed a non-invasive optogenetics approach, utilizing focused ultrasound-triggered mechanoluminescent nanotransducers to enable remote photon delivery deep in the brain for genetically targeted neuromodulation.

Objective: There are several conservative treatment options for adhesive capsulitis (AC), but no previous study combines hydrodilation, corticosteroid injection and joint manipulation under sedation (triple procedure), followed by daily home exercises.
Methods: Patients included were evaluated before the procedure, at 30 days, 3, 6 and 12 months after treatment in prospective cohort. The outcomes used were the ASES, UCLA, SANE, VAS scales and passive range of motion (ROM).
