Objective: To examine the putative moderating role of self-efficacy in the intention-planning-behavior relationship.
Methods: In N=812 individuals, intentions (independent variable) were assessed at baseline, whereas action plans (mediator), self-efficacy (moderator), and physical activity (dependent variable) were measured again 4 weeks later. We examined a moderated-mediation model.
Results: Self-efficacy moderates the mediation process: the strength of the mediated effect increased along with levels of self-efficacy. The results remain valid after accounting for baseline physical activity.
Conclusions: For plans to mediate the intention-behavior relation, people must hold sufficiently high levels of self-efficacy. If they lack self-efficacy, planning may be in vain.

The purpose of this research includes analyzing the interaction between online English learning motivations, digital readiness, academic engagement, self-regulated English learning attainment, and technology self-efficacy. These interactions were examined based on data gathered from learners in online English courses through the method of structural equation modeling. Analysis found that online English learning motivation has a significant impact on the learners' level of digital readiness and levels of academic engagement, thereby underlining its importance in getting learners ready for meaningful navigation of the digital environments with emphasis on specific academic tasks.

Background: People from lower socioeconomic groups are more likely to smoke and less likely to succeed in achieving abstinence, making tobacco smoking a leading driver of health inequalities. Objectives: The aim of the current study was to determine the levels of stress, resilience and the sense of self-efficacy, as well as the influence of resilience and the sense of self-efficacy in shaping stress levels, in a sample of women from various countries of origin.
Methods: The study was carried out on a sample of Ukrainian (N = 82), Polish (N = 102), Slovak (N = 79), and Romanian (N = 42) women using the Sense of Stress Questionnaire, the General Self-Efficacy Scale and the Brief Resilience Scale.
Results: Highest total stress levels were found among Ukrainian women, while the lowest were found among Polish women.
