The visualization of molecular scenarios on an atomic level can help to interpret experimental and theoretical findings. This is demonstrated in this review article with the specific field of drug design. State-of-the-art visualization techniques are described and applied to the different stages of the rational design process. Numerous examples from the literature, in which visualization was used as a major tool in the data analysis and interpretation, are provided to show that images are not only useful for drawing the attention of the reader to a specific paper in a scientific journal.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly invasive and fatal brain tumor with a grim prognosis, where current treatment modalities, including postoperative radiotherapy and temozolomide chemotherapy, yield a median survival of only 15 months. The challenges of tumor heterogeneity, drug resistance, and the blood-brain barrier necessitate innovative therapeutic approaches. This study introduces a strategy employing biomimetic magnetic nanorobots encapsulated with hybrid membranes derived from platelets and M1 macrophages to enhance blood-brain barrier penetration and target GBM.

Background And Objective: To determine whether there is disproportionate reporting of hepatobiliary disorders in the United States (US) FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) for individuals prescribed ketamine or esketamine.
Design: We identified Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) terms in the FAERS related to hepatobiliary disorders.
Main Measures: Formulations of ketamine and esketamine were evaluated for the proportionality of reporting for each hepatobiliary disorder parameter using the reporting odds ratio (ROR).
