Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of oblique radiographic projection using the intraoral paralleling technique in detecting various peri-implant bone defects.
Methods: Artificial mandibular models with appropriate radiopacity were created. An alveolar bone model without bone defects and models with 12 types of peri-implant bone defects (buccal, circumferential, and mixed types with different widths and depths) were created.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate extrinsic tooth stain removal and whitening efficacy of two experimental dentifrices containing (i) 5% sodium tripolyphosphate (STP)/1% micronized alumina or (ii) 5% STP/1% micronized alumina with abrasive silica (ED2) compared to a regular fluoride dentifrice (RFD) following 8 weeks of use.
Materials And Methods: This was a single-center, randomized, controlled, blind, three-arm, stratified, parallel-group study. Eligible participants underwent clinical assessment of stain on the facial/lingual surfaces of maxillary and mandibular teeth using the modified Lobene stain index (MLSI), and shade of the facial surfaces of the central and lateral maxillary incisors using the VITA Bleachedguide 3D-Master (VITA) shade guide.

Introduction: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) septic arthritis is a rare frequently misdiagnosed condition with non-specific symptoms. We present our experience of thirteen cases of TMJ septic arthritis and perform a systematic review of the literature to collate the multiple characteristics of this condition.
Material And Method: A total of 133 cases of TMJ septic arthritis in humans across 62 studies were analyzed by searching PubMed, Cochrane Library, DOAJ and ClinicalTrials.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the accuracy of an alternative scan path with that of traditional scan paths to obtain a more accurate method for complete arch scans.
Materials And Methods: A mandibular stone cast, including tooth preparations for the inlay, crown, and fixed prosthesis, was scanned 10 times using four different scan paths (A, B, C, and D). The scans were converted into stereolithography files, resized, and superimposed onto a control file obtained from a desktop scanner.

Introduction: The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is one of the most intricate anatomical entities within the human body and is clinically relevant in the field of dentistry. Therefore, the present study aimed to conduct a three-dimensional (3D) volumetric comparison of the TMJ space in skeletal Class I and II patients using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).
Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted on 40 CBCT records divided into skeletal Class I and skeletal Class II patients.
