Mining electric shovels are one of the core equipments for open-pit mining, and are currently moving towards intelligent and unmanned transformation, with intelligent mining instead of traditional manual operation. In the excavation operation process, due to the complexity and changeability of the material surfaces, different excavation strategies should be adopted to achieve the optimal excavation trajectory. It is an important research direction to realize the unmanned excavation of electric shovels by studying a trajectory planning method that is not limited to fixed resting angle surface, can comprehensively consider the type of material surfaces and aim at the minimum excavation energy consumption per unit volume.

One important field of manual medicine is the special diagnosis and treatment of the extremities. Biomechanical and neurophysiologic knowledge allows identification and treatment of so-called kinetic chain syndromes. The manual diagnosis of the extremities follows clear criteria and enables the diagnosis of myofascial or joint dysfunction.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that conarticular surfaces areas and curvatures are correlates of mobility at the hominoid talocalcaneal and talonavicular joints.
Materials And Methods: Articular surface areas and curvatures of the talonavicular, anterior talocalcaneal, and posterior talocalcaneal joints were quantified using a total of 425 three-dimensional surface models of extant hominoid and fossil hominin tali, calcanei, and naviculars. Quadric surface fitting was used to calculate curvatures, pairwise comparisons were used to evaluate statistical differences between taxa, and regression was used to test for the effects of allometry.

Background And Purpose: Physiotherapists develop clinical reasoning theories and applied manual therapy skills through a variety of educational exposures. No studies have assessed the importance of selected theories such as the convex-concave rule, capsular pattern and scapulohumeral rhythm during clinical decision-making by physiotherapists. The present study investigated which variables physiotherapists considered were associated with the importance of these theories during practice and investigated physiotherapists' perception of translational motion biomechanics of the glenohumeral (GH) joint.
