Background: Liver transplant (LT) patients face various challenges, including an increased risk of coronary artery disease (CAD) for a variety of reasons, with 70% of LT recipients having one cardiovascular event. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) remains one of the most commonly performed major surgical procedures in the United States, with 20-30% of LT patients requiring a CABG. Many studies have analyzed when to perform a CABG and CAD workup pre-LT, but this population remains a problem.

Objectives: Explore, understand and analyse how women with pre-existing diabetes can be better supported during the inter-pregnancy interval-the time after a baby loss and before a subsequent pregnancy.

Background: Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) face a higher risk of developing chronic refractory wounds. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) plays an important role in diabetes-related complications. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the 3 indicators and diabetic chronic refractory wounds, in order to establish the diagnostic value of these 3 indicators and provide reference for the treatment.

The waning immunity following the COVID-19 vaccination become a significant concern and the immunological dynamics of vaccine-induced antibodies after vaccination need to be explored. The aim of this study was to compare anti-SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) antibody levels before and after a booster dose with heterologous COVID-19 vaccine and to identify factors influencing the levels after receiving the booster dose. A cross-sectional study was conducted in which individuals who received primary doses of CoronaVac and a booster dose with an mRNA-based vaccine were recruited using a purposive sampling technique.
