Shoulder pain may occur as a secondary symptom to a wide range of conditions, including rotator cuff disorders, glenohumeral osteoarthritis, or adhesive capsulitis. One common factor linking these diseases is inflammation. Understanding the role of inflammation in shoulder disorders can help physicians to manage and treat these common problems. Here, I document a perspective on these pathologies of shoulder.
