On the ninetieth anniversary of National Institute of Hygiene in Warsaw, we should mention also veterinary research workers engaged at this Institute. People educated in the field of veterinary medicine (47 persons) during they stay published 1261 papers, achieved 15 doctor and H assistant professorship degrees. This veterinary professional group fully participated in Medical Public health Sciences, transforming human life for better. 172 veterinarians attended training courses organized by National Institute of Hygiene; 36 of them achieved specialization of Hygiene and Epidemiology.

Members of the family of GLUTAMATE RECEPTOR-LIKE (GLR) proteins are known to act as amino acid-gated Ca-permeable channels and to have signalling roles in diverse plant processes. Objective: To evaluate whether there is an association between maternal mental health, purchase of psychotropic drugs, socioeconomic status and major congenital anomalies in offspring.
Methods: A register-based cohort study of 6189 Finnish primiparous women who had a singleton delivery between 2009 and 2015. Data on pregnancy and delivery outcomes, psychiatric diagnosis, prescription drug purchases and offspring congenital anomalies were obtained from Finnish national registers.
