Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a prevalent and highly lethal malignancy in Asia. Recent advancements in immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have markedly transformed the systemic therapy landscape for ESCC. Anti-PD-1-based combination with chemotherapy or with ipilimumab, an anti-CTLA-4 antibody, have been established as the new standard first-line treatments for patients with advanced ESCC.

BACKGROUND Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) encompasses a group of disorders ranging from hyperplastic to malignant lymphoid proliferations in the post-transplant period owing to immunosuppression, often in the setting of EBV transformation. PTLD is a rare complication of immunosuppression that, like lymphomas, can have a variable presentation based on disease localization. We report a case of PTLD mass effect at the porta hepatis for the first time in the literature, resulting in hepatic artery stenosis (HAS) and common hepatic duct obstruction.

Primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC) is a rare and challenging jawbone malignancy often linked to odontogenic cysts. With minimal connection to oral mucosa and a low incidence rate, PIOC presents significant diagnostic difficulties, often mimicking other odontogenic lesions. Histogenesis and the correct classification of the lesion remains debated, with theories suggesting origins from odontogenic epithelium or cysts.

Cuproptosis shows great prospects in cancer treatments. However, insufficient intracellular copper amount, low-level redox homeostasis, and hypoxic tumor microenvironment severely restrict cuproptosis efficacy. Herein, hydrazided hyaluronan-templated decorated CuO-doxorubicin (CuDT) nanodot clusters (NCs) are developed for efficient doxorubicin (DOX)-sensitized cuproptosis therapy in breast cancer via a three-pronged strategy.
