Over the past few decades, advances in modern imaging technology have enabled less invasive approaches to diagnose and treat disease. In the field of image-guided techniques, this has seen the common adaptation of needle biopsy and catheter drainage into clinical practice. In this article we review the most common applications of transanorectal techniques. As nearly all these techniques are performed under ultrasound guidance in dayto-day practice, the review focuses almost exclusively on ultrasound-enabled techniques.

Introduction: Most pediatric urethral injuries are a result of pelvic fracture after high-impact blunt trauma, mainly due to motor vehicle accidents. The management of urethral injuries depends on if the rupture is complete or partial as well as the timing of surgical intervention.
Presentation Of Cases: Three male children with urethral trauma caused by motor vehicles accidents are presented in this article.

Introduction: Severe genital abnormalities such as urogenital sinus and urethral duplication with ectopic urethra in the rectum represent a major challenge in reconstructive urology.
Objective: We aimed to review our cases presenting with functional ectopic urethra implanted in the rectum that were treated through an ASTRA approach.
Methods: We reviewed the medical records of all patients who had undergone an ASTRA approach from 2005-2016.

Objective: To explore the feasibility of dynamic three-dimensional ultrasound measurement in the diagnosis of pelvic floor dyssynergia(PFD).
Methods: Thirty female patients with PFD received dynamic three-dimensional ultrasound. The differences in angle α measured by transperineal three-dimensional ultrasound, and angle β, angle γ, and H line as measured by transanorectal three-dimensional ultrasound were compared between resting state and Valsalva maneuver.

Introduction: Urethral duplication is a rare congenital anomaly affecting mainly boys. Generally, the duplication develops on the sagittal plane; the accessory urethra may run dorsally or ventrally to the orthotopic one. We present a patient with urethral duplication in which the orthotopic urethra was patent in the penile segment but atresic in the bulbar and prostatic segment.

Background: Although it is virtually impossible to formulate a scheme that can satisfactorily collect all different types of vaginal malformations, a simple classification would be of a considerable value and would permit logical operative decisions. Many classifications of anomalies of uterus and vagina have been proposed: we find them unsatisfactory and confusing, being either too simple or too complex. We propose a new classification, focused only on vagina and based on embryological, anatomical, clinical and surgical criteria.
