Published: February 2009

The results of the study of students' social health are presented. The students' attitude to the occurring society changes and the social adaptation to the basic social conditions and the immediate environment of living are analyzed. It is revealed that those students who have higher material well-being, good health status and are satisfied with University studies adapt better to the mutable social economic conditions. Three groups are established depending on the level of social adaptedness: the basically adapted (the adaptedness is higher than mean level)--28.1%: the average adapted--52.2% and the low adapted (or desadapted)--19.7%
