Life at medical school is filled with books containing enormous amounts of information. The ultimate goal after reading these thick books is to create an overview of the complex human body. The books are mostly packed with information that you have to remember in detail and are written in a way which is not intentionally funny. Sometimes, however, a funny description pops up out of nowhere. This article summarizes some of these examples of funny descriptions of internal organs and diseases. It contains only highlights and there are plenty more similar examples in medical textbooks.

Research on social assistive robots in education faces many challenges that extend beyond technical issues. On one hand, hardware and software limitations, such as algorithm accuracy in real-world applications, render this approach difficult for daily use. On the other hand, there are human factors that need addressing as well, such as student motivations and expectations toward the robot, teachers' time management and lack of knowledge to deal with such technologies, and effective communication between experimenters and stakeholders.
