Determining the appropriate prosthetic tooth color between the clinician, patient and technician is a difficult process due to metamerism. Metamerism, known as the different perception of the color of an object under different light sources, is caused by the lighting differences between the laboratory and the dental clinic.

Introduction: This descriptive study investigated the immediate individual effects of intensive group speech intervention on speech, health-related quality of life, and satisfaction in adolescents born with a cleft (lip and) palate (CP ± L) in the Philippines.
Methods: Four Filipino adolescents with a repaired CP ± L (age range = 17 to 23 years) were included. They presented with at least one cleft-related speech sound error.

Adults living in Queensland ( = 1000) completed an online survey about knowledge of VAD as a legal option and awareness of how to access VAD and information about it. Quotas were set for age, gender and geographical region within Queensland.
