Background: This paper presents an analysis based on the recently recruited overseas nurses in the NHS in the United Kingdom [UK].
Objectives: The aims of the study were to determine how overseas nurses perceive equal opportunity as well as the opportunities for skill development and training to be in the National Health Service [NHS] in the UK.
Methods: A survey approach was adopted to investigate the aims of the study. There were 900 questionnaires distributed of which 188 were suitable for the study, thus giving rise to 21% success rate.
Results: The findings revealed many statistical differences between the different ethnic groups used in the study. Overall, overseas nurses from Africa perceived equal opportunity and their prospect for skills development and training to be different to that of their overseas counterparts. In addition the results showed that African nurses were less likely to view their experiences positively particularly if they were not working in any of the NHS trust hospitals in London.
Conclusion: It is important to say that equal opportunity as well as opportunities for skills development and training should be universal within the NHS as this could improve the inequitable treatment that is apparent throughout the UK. There is a need for NHS trust hospitals in the UK to review their equal opportunity and skills development and training policies in the light of these findings.

Context: Medical education in the United States has undergone significant changes, specifically within the osteopathic community. In 2020, a merger occurred between the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), forming a single accreditation system (SAS) for graduate medical education and residency placement, with the purpose to create consistency within graduate medical education and to provide equal opportunities for applicants pursuing all specialties in medicine. However, osteopathic medical students, especially students applying to competitive residencies including orthopedic surgery, have faced challenges, raising concerns about future implications within this field.

Background: Although the number of women entering dermatology residency programs is increasing, they still encounter numerous challenges and disparities, including limited career opportunities and difficulties in balancing family planning with their professional lives. Parental leave policies have been recognized for their positive impact on maternal, fetal, and familial well-being, career satisfaction, and gender equality. However, negative perceptions and a lack of awareness surrounding these policies may discourage female residents from taking parental leave during training.

Access to electricity is vital for enhancing human welfare; however, it is not equally distributed between rural and urban demographics. This paper, for the first time, examine the impact of climate finance on electricity accessibility, and the inequality of electricity accessibility between urban and rural areas. Based on the dataset covering 125 countries during 2002-2020, and by using the instrumental Variables-Generalized Method of Moments model, we mainly arrive at the following conclusions.
