The purpose of this study is to review the prevalence of different uterine defects associated with infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and preterm pregnancies. Various infertility etiologies are analyzed, mainly that of uterine basis (adhesions, septa, myomas, polyps, pelvic inflammations or infection, and endometriosis). Importance of surgical techniques with minimal invasion is studied, basically hysteroscopy as a diagnosis and therapeutic method, which is compared with the rest of techniques.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of cervical length on procedure time and VAS pain scores during office hysteroscopy. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 50 patients who underwent office hysteroscopy for various indications such as abnormal uterine bleeding and infertility. Exclusion criteria included active vaginal infection, previous cervical surgery, and chronic pelvic pain.

Uterine fibroids occur frequently in women during the reproductive age, and they are rarely associated with clinical meaning because of their benign characteristics and asymptomatic clinical presentation. Sometimes, uterine fibroids are symptomatic and associated with compression syndrome, infertility, chronic pelvic pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. All need further intervention and treatment.

Research Question: Can attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy combined with machine learning techniques be used to develop a real-time diagnostic modality for chronic endometritis by analysing endometrial biopsies obtained during hysteroscopy?
Design: Women undergoing hysteroscopy for infertility assessment were enrolled in this prospective study from January 2020 to March 2021. Endometrial biopsies were evaluated using a spectrophotometer, and subsequently via histopathology, including immunohistochemical staining for the multiple myeloma oncogene-1 (MUM-1). Spectroscopy analyses of the positive and the negative chronic endometritis groups were compared across various cut-offs of MUM-1 positive cells per 10 high-power fields (HPF).

The aim of our study is to evaluate the prevalence of CUAs in women with endometriosis and to identify specific characteristics in women with both CUAs and endometriosis in a large cohort of patients.
