We propose a new method based on direct laser lithography to fabricate reference chromium patterns on a silicon wafer. Our method is able to fabricate a maximum 360-mm-diameter pattern with 651-nm-position uncertainty. The minimum pattern size is about 0.8 microm (linewidth value) and the maximum available height of the pattern is slightly over 400 nm.

Dynamic transverse mode instability (TMI) has become one of the primary limitations for power scaling of high-power fiber lasers. Experimental evidence has shown that static mode degradation can suppress the dynamic TMI effect. This study reveals the physical mechanisms behind the mitigation of dynamic TMI in two-mode fiber lasers through static mode degradation.

The rotation of the YIG sphere triggers the Barnett effect in the magnon mode and the Sagnac effect in the optical modes. The directional input of a pump light leads to opposite Sagnac-Fizeau frequency shifts in these modes.

The laser is designed in a two-arm structure, wherein each arm places a q-plate (QP) to introduce intra-cavity spin-orbital angular momentum conversion, leading to the oscillation of two various CV modes in two arms, and finally output along two directions, respectively. The favorable experimental results illustrate high power stability and polarization mode purity.

Because of the close membrane apposition, there is rapid exclusion of CD45, and therefore LCK activation. Much less is known about whether spatial regulation of the intracellular face dictates LCK activity and TCR signal transduction.

Retinal image registration is essential for monitoring eye diseases and planning treatments, yet it remains challenging due to large deformations, minimal overlap, and varying image quality. To address these challenges, we propose RetinaRegNet, a multi-stage image registration model with zero-shot generalizability across multiple retinal imaging modalities. RetinaRegNet begins by extracting image features using a pretrained latent diffusion model.
