Background: Transfer of the supinator motor branches to the posterior interosseous nerve (SPIN) was first described as a reliable method of restoration of digit extension in cases of paralysis when there is retained function in the 5th and 6th cervical nerve roots with loss of function in the 8th cervical nerve root.

We present a case of a professional basketball player who suffered from nonunion bilateral chronic tibial fractures, successfully treated with ultrasound-guided intraosseous injection with bone marrow aspirate concentrate. Background: This review article describes the chronic complications of diabetes mellitus (DM). The chronic complications of DM are diverse, often progressive and difficult to manage or reverse.

Objective: The aim of this review is to highlight the current concepts in the pathogenic mechanisms of the chronic complications of diabetes mellitus, with a view to educate doctors and specialists on the management of these problems.
