Mucinous adenocarcinoma of the renal pelvis is an extremely rare tumor with very few case reports in literature. Pseudomyxoma peritonei is an uncommon condition characterized by the presence of mucinous gelatinous material in the peritoneal cavity. It occurs secondary to primary mucinous neoplasms of particularly the appendix and the ovary. We present a case of a 35-year-old female who had a history of dull aching pain in the right flank since one and a half years. Upon ultrasonography (USG) and computerized tomography (CT) scan, there was a large cystic mass measuring 15x15x12 cm, extending into the right lumbar region. Grossly, the entire kidney was converted into a cystic mass measuring 15x15x12 cm containing gelatinous mucinous material weighing 1 kg. Histologically, the tumor was composed of simple and complex glandular acini together with a superficial resemblance to colonic mucosa with abundant extracellular mucin. Thus, a diagnosis of mucinous adenocarcinoma of the renal pelvis leading to pseudomyxoma peritonei was made.

Purpose: The rarity of breast mucinous carcinoma (BMC) makes it challenging to study the prognosis of this disease across diverse racial populations. This study aimed to leverage epidemiological data on immigrant populations to elucidate the prognostic differences in BMC patients from various racial/ethnic backgrounds. The goal was to help formulate more personalized clinical practice guidelines for the management of this rare malignancy.

KRAS was long deemed undruggable until the discovery of the switch-II pocket facilitated the development of specific KRAS inhibitors. Despite their introduction into clinical practice, resistance mechanisms can limit their effectiveness. Initially, tumors rely on mutant KRAS, but as they progress, they may shift to alternative pathways, resulting in intrinsic resistance.

Background: Ovarian cancer (OC) is a heterogeneous malignancy with multiple histological subtypes, showing global variability in incidence. Temporal changes in diagnostic criteria and risk factors might influence the incidence and distribution of OC and its subtypes.
Methods: This study analyzed incidence patterns (2013-2017) and trends (1988-1992 to 2013-2017) of OC and its subtypes across 65 and 40 countries, respectively.

Purpose: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has proven valuable in treating locally advanced colon cancer (LACC) and is included as a treatment option for patients with clinical T4b colon cancer by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. However, the long-term survival benefit of NAC in LACC remains debated, due to a lack of conclusive clinical trial results identifying the patients who would benefit most from NAC. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of NAC in patients with LACC based on histological subtype.
