The Jewish religion is characterized by a strict association between faith and practical precepts. In principle, Jewish law has two divisions, the Written and the Oral traditions. The foundation of the Written Law and the origin of authority is the Torah, the first five books of the Scripture. This paper presents the attitude of Jewish religion to assisted reproductive therapeutic procedures such as IVF-embryo transfer, spermatozoa, oocytes, embryo donation, cryopreservation of genetic material, surrogacy, posthumous reproduction, gender preselection and reproductive and therapeutic cloning.

Over the past decade, research on embryo-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) has unveiled their critical roles in embryonic development and intercellular communication. EVs secreted by embryos are nanoscale lipid bilayer vesicles that carry bioactive cargo, including proteins, lipids, RNAs, and DNAs, reflecting the physiological state of the source cells. These vesicles facilitate paracrine and autocrine signaling, influencing key processes such as cell differentiation, embryo viability, and endometrial receptivity.

Objective: To explore the effects of donor sperm on reproductive quality of life, sleep quality and erectile function in patients with severe oligoasthenospermia after the failure of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and to provide targeted reference for intervention.
Methods: From January 2021 to December 2023, patients with severe oligoasthenospermia who received assisted pregnancy treatment in Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University were selected as the study objects. Among them, 82 cases using sperm donor assisted pregnancy after ICSI failure were set as the observation group, and 82 cases using propensity score 1:1 matching ICSI failure after ICSI assisted pregnancy were set as the control group.
