Background: Hereditary Multiple Osteochondromas (HMO), previously known as Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (MHE), is a genetic disorder characterized by the formation of multiple, benign, exostoses (osteochondromas) growing from the metaphyseal region of long bones as well as from the axial skeleton. Lesions originating from the lumbar spine region are rare, and are most common growing from the posterior element of the vertebrae. HMO associated osteochondromas are difficult to treat due to continuous and incontrollable growth of these lesions and a lifetime risk for malignant transformation.

We report a case where we performed LEA using lumbar epidural anesthesia, and an asymptomatic sacral perineural cyst was considered the potential cause of inadequate analgesia in the sacral region. A 33-year-old primigravida was admitted with premature rupture of membranes.

Background: Pelvic reconstruction after type I + II (or type I + II + III) internal hemipelvectomy with extensive ilium removal is a great challenge. In an attempt to anatomically reconstruct the hip rotation center (HRC) and achieve a low mechanical failure rate, a custom-made, 3D-printed prosthesis with a porous articular interface was developed. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical outcomes of patients treated with this prosthesis.
