Our case-report presents a 62 year old woman with spontaneous onset of a distinct walking disorder and pancytopenia. The diagnosis showed a sub-acute combined degeneration of the spinal cord (SACD) and a megaloblastic anemia as a result of a cobalamin deficiency. This was caused by a strict vegetarian nutrition since 18 years. Once on therapy with cobalamin substitutes the clinical and laboratory test results improved within 3 months.

Based on the repertory grid technique, we developed Explore Your Meanings (EYME), a digital platform that helps patients explore identity values and internal conflicts using virtual reality (VR). EYME was part of a research project treating depression in young adults, including 10 weekly, 1-h sessions aimed at changing personal constructs-cognitive schemas that shape how individuals interpret reality. We present the case of Mary, a 21-year-old woman diagnosed with persistent major depressive disorder and social phobia.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma during pregnancy is extremely rare. Overall, including our case, only 19 cases confirmed antepartum have been reported to date. We report the case of a 37 year-old woman at 24 weeks of pregnancy in whom a pancreatic adenocarcinoma was identified during investigation of a suspected acute pancreatitis.
