Published: September 1987

An electronic interface for the Commodore 64 microcomputer suitable for generation of voltammetric waveforms and for data acquisition has been built. Used together with analogue voltammetric instruments the interface makes updating of the measurement techniques possible. Also, fast A/D-conversion and a floppy disk drive make the system useful as a universal data-acquisition unit in the laboratory. The system has been tested together with an amperometric detector in the square-wave voltammetric determination of paracetamol and iodide.

MoG: molecular graphics software for the Commodore Amiga.

J Mol Graph

March 1993

SciTech Software, Ashtead, Surrey, UK.

As recently described by Garavelli, the Commodore Amiga 3000 computer is "nearly ideal" for desktop molecular modeling. The chief drawback to date, has been the lack of suitable software. This paper describes a new desktop molecular modeling package, MoG, which is suitable for both research and educational use.

[Impact of a plaster on the pulmonary functions in idiopathic scolioses.].

Acta Chir Orthop Traumatol Cech

November 2015

Ortopedická klinika fakultní nemocnice, Brno-Bohunice.

The authors followed up the impact of a plaster applied in idiopathic scolioses on the pulmonary functions measured by microcomputer spirometer. Pulmonary functions were examined in 24 patients prior to the operation of scoliosis and after the operation in the plaster and in 20 patients treated only by the plaster and on 45th day after its removal. The results of both groups were statistically evaluated by a Student t-test at 1 % level of significance by a personal computer Commodore 16.

Department of Pharmacology, Emory University, School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA 30322.

We describe an ultrasonic motion sensing system for measuring the motor activity of individual squirrel monkeys in their home cage. The system utilizes an inexpensive Commodore 64 microcomputer for data collection and can distinguish between movements of short (i.e.

The eyeblink reflex is well suited for the study of habituation, sensitization, reflex modification and classical conditioning in humans. A microcomputer-based system for elicitation and recording of the eyeblink reflex is described. The system consists of three functional units: (1) an air-pressure bottle and pressure-reducing valves for delivery of air puffs to the eye in order to elicit the eyeblink reflex, and a CBM 64 computer for presentations of auditory stimuli in conjunction with air puffs; (2) a pair of light-emitting diodes and photocells placed in a pair of goggles placed on the subject for detection of eyeblinks; (3) an IBM-compatible personal computer, equipped with the ASYSTANT + software for eyeblink data acquisition and overall control of experiment and parameters.
