The review is a continuation of the initial reviews and covers the period of abstracting up to and including April, 1967. Work on the atomic-absorption determination of noble metals is also included.

Noble metal nanoparticles have attracted tremendous attention as the promising signal reporters for catalytic-colorimetric lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA). However, it remains great challenges for improving their stability and catalytic activity. Herein, first, a kind of porphyrinic based metal-organic framework (MOF) was used as a carrier for loading platinum (Pt) nanoparticles to avoid its aggregation.

Psocids are difficult to manage using grain protectants and phosphine hence research on non-chemical control methods. This study evaluated the effectiveness of (Reuter) (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae) at managing (Pearman) (Psocodea: Liposcelididae). The functional responses of adult♀ and nymphs of on a diet of nymphs, adult♂, and adult♀ of were determined under laboratory conditions at 28 ± 1 °C, 63 ± 5% RH, and a 0:24 (L:D) photoperiod.

Background: Data on risks and benefits of long-term anticoagulants in patients with a life-limiting disease are limited. This cohort study aims to describe (dis)continuation of anticoagulants and incidences of bleeding and thromboembolic events in vitamin K antagonist (VKA) users with a life-limiting disease.
Methods: Data from five Dutch anticoagulation clinics were linked to data from Statistics Netherlands and the Netherlands Cancer registry.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 continues to pose a major challenge to global health. Targeting the main protease of the virus (Mpro), which is essential for viral replication and transcription, offers a promising approach for therapeutic intervention. In this study, advanced computational techniques such as molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations were used to screen a series of antiviral compounds for their potential inhibitory effect on the SARS-CoV-2 Mpro.

Purpose: The landiolol and organ failure in patients with septic shock (STRESS-L study) included a pre-planned sub-study to assess the effect of landiolol treatment on inflammatory and metabolomic markers.
Methods: Samples collected from 91 patients randomised to STRESS-L were profiled for immune and metabolomic markers. A panel of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines were measured through commercially acquired multiplex Luminex assays and statistically analysed by individual and cluster-level analysis (patient).
