The authors investigated the relation between motivation and flow in a sample of 327 architecture students. Specifically, they investigated the relation between flow and several levels of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, as well as amotivation. They also assessed the need for autonomy in moderating the relation between intrinsic motivation and engagement. Results indicated a significant relation between flow experiences in academic activities and the more self-determined forms of intrinsic motivation, but not for extrinsic motivation. The need for autonomy moderated the relation between flow and intrinsic motivation. These results are discussed in the context of understanding flow as an intrinsically motivating state and a viable construct for understanding engagement.

Intravenous pumps (IVPs) deliver IV medications to millions of acute care patients each year and result in many adverse events reported to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although the use of IVPs has improved overall safety, there are still high rates of error that risk the safety of all patients, especially those of advanced age and those suffering from critical illness. Most of the documented errors are based on clinician reports, although there is reason to believe that errors due to flow rate inaccuracy go undetected and unreported.

Purpose: A projection-resolved optical coherence tomography angiography (PR-OCTA) algorithm with slab-specific strategy was applied in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) to differentiate between polyp and branching vascular network (BVN) and improve polyp detection by en face OCTA.
Methods: Twenty-nine participants diagnosed with PCV by indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and 30 participants diagnosed with typical neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) were enrolled. Polyps were classified into three categories after using the slab-specific PR algorithm.

Unlabelled: Observational studies have described an increase in the duration of oxygen therapy, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in relation to the use of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC, 2013-2016).
Objective: to analyze changes in the evolution of very preterm newborns with the use of HFNC.
Patients And Method: The incidence of neonatal pathologies between 2013 and 2021 was analyzed with a statistical process control.

Introduction: Anandamide (AEA) is an endocannabinoid that has recently been recognized as a regulator of various inflammatory diseases as well as cancer. While AEA was thought to predominantly engage cannabinoid (CB) receptors, recent findings suggest that, given its protective anti-inflammatory role in pathological conditions, anandamide may engage not only CB receptors.
Methods: In this study, we studied the role of exogenous AEA in a mouse AirPouch model of acute inflammation by examining immune cell infiltrates by flow cytometry.

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by memory and cognitive impairments. Previous studies have shown neuronal death in the brains of AD patients, but the role of cuproptosis and its associated genes in AD neurons remains unclear.
Methods: Intersection analysis was conducted using the AD transcriptome dataset GSE63060, neuron dataset GSE147528, and reported cuproptosis-related genes to identify the cuproptosis key gene highly expressed in AD.
